    Hi,

I have a hannspree 32 inch set which recently died. Checking the power circuit board there is quite clearly an IC chip which has blown. I have checked the component number (TNY277PN), which I can find quite easily online. However, there are other numbers on the chip. Above the component number is 1014, while below is 75306C. The chips I am finding online have different numbers. What I would like to know is whether these numbers are that important? If the component number is the same should the chip work?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi Gerard and welcome to electronicspoint ! Other numbering can be date code, country code, ...
It does't matter to repair your set so.
