This is out of my inverter for my KitchenAid Refrigerator. My first thoughts are the caps are blown. I cannot find any info on the caps or replacements. The rubber tops are throwing me and second guessing myself.

    Thanks for any help!

    hey there Ibanez
    welcome to the forums :)

yup they look pretty stuffed ;) replace with same uF, voltage and temperature values

something ~ 620 to 680uF 200V should be readily available and make sure they are 105Deg C temp rating

digi-key, mouser, Farnell etc should be able to supply

    cheers
    Dave

PS ... your nickname ... a good brand of guitar ;)

So what's the rubber tops for? I never seen that before. Seepage containment?

They probably aren't rubber. They're probably just round pieces of thin plastic. Pull them apart and see, but watch out for electrolyte leakage.

I say rubber because it's soft and pliable.
