Automatic battery watering system

Are any of you using a automatic watering system? I am looking around
trying to learn which system is the best/cost effective to get for my
batterys. I have found Flow-Rite around $300 for ten batterys, and
Watermaster, around $600 for ten batterys. If you guys have any
experience or opinions on these systems please let me know. I would
really like to automate the filling at least partially.
Thanks,

Thanks Steve,
My battery bank spends most of its time at 14.7 volts system voltage.
What about yours? I was worried that the Hdrocaps might get used up
fast. What do you think?
The cost is about the same Hydro caps or Flow-rite water filling caps.

BTW, I did not forget about writing up the Cruz-Pro battery monitor, I
just recently got it connected and operating. I don't have any faith in
it yet :)

I have to check and see if the way I set it up is ok. My battery bank is
ten Trojan 605's (190 amp hr @ 20 hr rate each). My system is 12
volts. I wanted the 100% indicator to show 0% when the system reached
50% discharged so I set the battery bank size up in the meter as 475
Amp/hr. Seems to take a long time to get the % full indication to drop
very much. Battery voltage stays up though. Perhaps I will establish a
known load and check it when I get the time. The charge efficiency is
set up at 80% and the Batterys are a month old.

I also just purchased a 12 volt motion light sensor from
www.Backwoodssolar.com and
a battery vent fan controller. I really like the fan controller. I just
hooked it up today.

Thanks

How would a Hydrocap get "used up"?

Text from the link you provided:

Hydrocaps will not last forever, though - life will vary from 2 years to 8
years, depending on charge rates and how they are treated. If left on during
battery equalization, they can be quickly used up and/or ruined.
