Does anyone know of a simple circuit that makes a noise when a
refrigerator door is not closed?

Please send it directly to me at [email protected]

Thanks.

Well, if the fridge has got a light which shuts of when door closes, you
could use a ldr close to the lightbulb and some transistors...

I hooked a bungee cord to the bottom of the door to slam it shut. The
freezer side would stay open a fraction of an inch, not enough to
light the light but enough to melt the ice cream.

So you have a perfect audible alarm already!

No cost for components or extra energy and it never fails.

or put a magnetic reed switch in the door frame, wired to a buzzer - the
magnetic door strip should close it when the door shuts.
