Hi moderators.
Some forums frown upon "self-promoting", or suggesting that a question-poster visit / view the answerer's related contribution on another forum (but still same website).
Is this OK to do on EP, in certain cases?
More specifically, a poster has requested help with building an audio sound generator for her blind cat.
Rather than waste server space re-copying my project to that thread, which should hopefully fit the bill, can I point her to the projects forum, so if she wants, can optionally use the info supplied?
Obviously we are too geographically separated for me to actually build it for her, so my idea is that perhaps a family member or friend into electronics can use my project to build her one or two of these.

If it is not advertising, referencing to another post is perfectly o.k., even if it were on another forum. We use links to other websites day in and out.
