Yes; they will cook the fleshy part of your brain in no time flat!!

Seriously, the whole cell phone danger thing is blown out of proportion. Yes,
if you are using an old analog phone for hours per day, or even a crappy GSM
phone if you are in Europe, you are seriously at risk. The new standard
technology, CDMA, (used by Verizon and Sprint in the US; the Europeans are years
away from this modern technology (UMTS) as they are currently stuck with the old
GSM standard) phones use such low power that they are much safer than older
technologies.

The 2.4 Ghz cordless phones use even lower power.

However, I must say that we don't know for sure what level of microwave exposure
is truly safe, and may not know for years to come.

They're inherently no different from any other type of wireless phone.
However, the usage pattern may exacerbate any potential health threat.

When using a mobile phone, most calls don't last more than a few minutes,
but on a home cordless calls last much longer (particularly on local or
cheap long-distance calls)

Regardless of the mobile phone or cordless phone multiplexing method, the
inverse square law for electromagnetic radiation still applies.
