    Hi everyone,
I'm the happy owner of an Sainsmart mega 2560 with an mega8u2.
I got able to upload sketch to it without any problems except now, I've seen that the upload fail every time the sketch is bigger than 47 000 bytes. I have no ideas what is the problem. I've checked the firmware of the mega8u2 which seems to up to date. If any of you have gotten this problem I'd really appreciate an explanation and why not a solution.
    Thank you in advance,

Are you sure the chip is an ATMEGA8u2? It says on the sainsmart site that the board uses a ATMEGA2560 chip just as the official boards use, as well as this the MEGA8u2 chip has 8kb of flash, if this were the chip on the board the sketches should have failed past only 8kb. Could you take a picture of the chip and the numbers and letters on the chip? This may provide indication as to whether or not you have been conned/recieved a board with a manufacturing fault.
