Hi guys,

any suggestion of logic analyzer for a home made hardware project?
Agilent and Tektronix are too expensive.
Saleae Logic16 seems well, but sampling bandwidth is limited to 100MHz * 2 = 200Mbps.
Any more powerful and not expensive suggestion?
Thanks.

I understand the PicKit2 has one built in. The PK3 does not. So, if you have not got your programmer yet and are using Microchip devices, then that might be something to consider. I wish I had one too, but I didn't go the PK2 route.

I don't want a programmer for microcontroller, i need a logic analyzer.
Any way, thanks for your reply.

Do you really have a homemade hardware project that would require 100MHz? I sure have never reached that height.

100MHz logic analyzer just have capability for 25MHz signal.
well, with 2 channels it can sample at 100Mhz which will allow you to see a 50Mhz signal, although you wont be able to say much about when the signal rises and falls.

What are you actually trying to do?

I just want to watch some parallel bus, like GPIF of FX2 from cypress.
