I have recently been introduced to an ITT, W5/2GD, TWT, (Traveling Wave Tube) made in England. There is little to no information online about this specific TWT. I have no idea how old, or how to operate it safely. Honestly, I have no idea exactly what I can use it for period. I do know it is an RF/Microwave amplifier used in satellites and radar systems. I am curious to see the effects on a HAMM/Short Wave Radio or CB Radio though. Although I would be reluctant to hook it to an FST, (Field Strength Tester) for fear it would blow it. If anyone has "any" type of info on this particular TWT, ie...manual, operating info, or experience with this please let me know. Thanks...later, Zell
