Alternative to Weller WD 1M soldering station

Hi,

A bit puzzled with the information concerning the Weller soldering stations product line.

I'm interested to acquire the WD 1M station but it looks like it's not manufactured anymore, from what I can see on the Farnell online shop.

Anyone any idea which alternative would exist for this station, right now?

The Weller WD1M is still available and is still listed on Weller's web site. Do a search. Still available on Amazon or one of Weller's distributors. Note that the Hakko 888 that keeps showing up in ads here has been discontinued. Have not seen what's replacing it yet.

Yes, in the meanwhile I found it on the Weller German website as well. And the mention on the Farnell web site when I tried to order this product was clearly wrong. No idea what happened there...
