Hi,
Can anyone suggest a source in the UK for one of these fella's ?
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dwbrown/cap.jpg
I've done a scan of RS and a websearch using google, but I can't find 'owt
resembling 26microfarad 100v NP.
Any suggestions are more than welcome.
It's from a blown speaker cab driver.

I suppose a 22uf plus a 4.7uf in parallel would be as close as you could
hope for.

26uf has never been a standard value. Probably made only for that
particular application.

26 uF is not a standard value. Either the circuit it is used in is critical,
or the manufacture had a very good deal on a lot of these caps. I would use
a 22 uF NP in parallel to a 3.3 uF NP cap at the rated or higher voltage.
Or, use the closest possible values in parallel to make up something that
can work. Note, that these caps have a 10% to 20% tolerance anyways. Most
likely a 22 uF NP will work very well in your set.
