alarm monitoring

i live in los gatos, california, and need a new monitoring company.

any suggestions? please post it here, and i will call them.

i currently have a dsc power 832, with fire sensors

Sounds like you work for them and are trying to drum up some business from
posting the link/testimony online. I remember back during the BBS era, the
sysop's would do the same thing.. create "users" on other BBS's and post, or
even their own, trying to get people to call theirs.

using another alias and recommend their own service.

I'm not saying that the current gentleman/gentlemen is/are doing that but it
certainly does happen. Two of the regular posters here, Sabodish and
Rodney, have done it many times.

It occurs to me that there seems to be no way to measure the depth or scope
of your audacity.

with all the replies, i would have thought there were more suggestions than
just nextalarm; not sure what the controvery is; i just need a new company
to monitor my alarm.

and for those geographically impaired, los gatos is near san jose/silicon
valley, which is in northern california, about one hour from san francisco.
new york is on the other coast. florida is on the bottom, and canada is
the other direction.

Is that a matter of some state bureaucrat's "interpretation" of the US
Constitution?? I'm curious why one state would allow someone to carry a
