Aiwa FX8200 VCR Problem

We had a power cut last night, and since the power came back on, we have no
picture, but do have sound from the VCR.

I have tried tuning it into the TV using on the RF lead and this prodices no
picture or sound. Via scart I get sound but no picture.

Any ideas?

Should I consign it to the trash or is it something simple?
