Hi Ladies and Gents,
I am trying to repair a 300VA 28VDC - 115V/26V 400Hz AC static inverter. Not surprisingly I cant get any schematics, however I have traced the problem to 4 output transistors, which are getting reasonable base drive, but no AC output.
My problem is to try an get a suitable replacement transistor set, It has 4 x Motorola FT100014-2 with a Mexico suffix on some of them. I suspect they are NPN Darlingtons since they have a 500ohm resistor in series with each base. I doubt they are FETs as they have too high a gate drive voltage (0- 28V) than most modern ones would accept (I may be wrong here). See photo.
Mr Google wont help (gasp, shock!) so I was wondering what else they might be??? Has anyone seen this type of part number before?
Thanks
Steve
