Who makes the ADT Safe Watch 3000? I need to take one over, is it proprietary?

C Crash Gordon Jan 1, 1970 0 May 7, 2008 #2 Honeywell/Ademco Vista 20P never had problem taking one over, except you can't Compass it.

J Jim Rojas Jan 1, 1970 0 May 8, 2008 #5 ADT branded panels do not use the CSID feature. The software itself replaces the function of the CSID. A personality disk won't help either. It doesn't work like First Alert panels do. It requires a actual ADT version of Compass. Jim Rojas

A alarman Jan 1, 1970 0 May 8, 2008 #6 Thanks. I will end up replacing it anyway. I found out today that ADT owns the equipment.
C Crash Gordon Jan 1, 1970 0 May 8, 2008 #7 Nope. But I have been able to Compass one by swapping out the chip....personally it's not really worth the trouble to get a chip though. -- **Crash Gordon**
