Add Hdmi to a monitor

    Hi,
    I want to add Hdmi to a old monitor. The monitor have Vga. I dont want to use Vga cable to Hdmi I want to modify the screen but the thing it I have no idea how to do.

    You can't. Well, not easily and certainly not so it actually displays as hi-definition!

    The best you can do is to use the HDMI-to-VGA converters that exist.

    My problem is I want to display my tablet sreen on the monitor on my tablet it a micro-HDMI. I have a cable to micro-HDMI to HDMI. I cant connect two HDMI together and a converter it expensive.

    Many tablets have resolutions of 1200+ pixel/line and 600+ lines.

    A standard VGA display is 640x480 therefore unacceptable loss of details may be apparent if you use a screen of lower resolution than the device you originally view the content on.

    Most modern LCD TVs have the HDMI connection input as do even some low-end computer displays so consider using one instead.

    To physically convert a standard VGA display to accept the HDMI signal will cost considerably more than purchasing a cheap display with it already incorporated.

    My tablet it 1366 x 768.

    I did say 'native resolution' - not sure if it actually supports 1366x768 but the adapter will convert it to 1024x768 anyway.

    Can I know the complicate way to modify my monitor to had HDMI ?

    Ok I am gone a buy a cable. I search for VGA to HDMI cable there is only HDMI to VGA how i will do ?

    HDMI to VGA is what you're after.....
