Our company has some new small mortar mixers...their electric motors are 2 types: 0.6kW and 0.3 kW , but all are single phase, 230 Volts and 50 Hz.

The power avaiable at site is 110 V and 60 Hz.

What needs to be done so that the run the machine ?

Any idea from any quarter ???? It will be a great help.
Thanks and Regards,
Azam

You could try a site isolation transformer, designed for 110V out from 230V in.. Run it in reverse to get the voltage step-up. The motors will run 20% fast but this may not be a problem. Check the running loaded voltage, induction motors should not be run on low voltage.

Alternatively, get new motors to suit. The 60Hz motors will need different gearing if speed is critical
