Hello everyone,

I am looking to a schematic or a voltage regulator that will cut my voltage from 90vdc to around 24vdc.
What i have is a 90vdc motor that I want to hook up to a wind turbine (homemade) but i need to regulate the voltage down to around 24 vdc. I dont want to spend a small fortune on one.

Thank you in advance,

Kevin

You can try something like this, pretty efficient and will step anything from 66-154V down to 24, and will pass up to 4.17 amps, only 91 bucks.

Try looking on Digikey for "regulators" or "DC DC" and just filtering out what you need for numbers.

I recommend that after you drop the voltage to 24V that you use a MPPT circuit to ensure you get the most power you can from your turbine.
