The task is to choose all elements, which I need to make project with DAC0808 and draw my own schematic. CPU is 8086. In real life we are using 8086 board, all is connected, schematic will be just projection. I need 8086, clock generator, memory, dac0808 and keypad+lcd (for program input in memory).
I guess, there will be more questions, but now I don't understand few things:
1. 8284 clock generator's F/C and ASYNC pins are grounded, so crystal is used (external clocks aren't used). Can I connect 8284 CLK (pin 8) directly to 8086 CLK (pin 19)? Or I have to draw jumper where is also PCLK signal? Mybe I can draw jumper without PCLK? Still have to draw RDY1 signal.
2. What are these circled control elements?
I see there DAC out (in black circle) and LCD out (in yellow circle). Can't get it whether I need them or not.
