Well, I completed a refresher course today. Got to avoid
some work in the process.

They were nice about it, even served us a nice meal on top of
that. So I decide to enjoy that meal since I wasn't paying for it.

I've been spending all evening cycling it through my system.

Thought you'd like to know :)

Carry on gentlemen.

Did anybody else get anything to eat?
Thought you'd like to know :)

I'm sure the world would be much happier not knowing.

You are disgusting.

Thanks :)

You are welcome. I'm glad you can take constructive criticism so well.
Try posting something of interest. Similar to your oscillating LED
thingy but maybe more technical. Not the stuff you get online. Be original.

I do original stuff.

Actually, i've done lots of original circuits. Maybe some of them just
happen to look like others? That does not mean I copied. Basic
electronics is, well, basic I guess and if you don't know those things
than you're in a world of shit!

As for the oscillating LED, that was something I knew about years ago
sir.. It had nothing to do with the LED flashing, it was a question
about the survival rate of the gain on the transistor being used that
way, I only used that as an example. It must of got lost in the
translation.

I've always was led to believe using a transistor in that way isn't the
smartest practice. But then again, the list of smart people these days
are getting short.

I've been doing this crap ~ 45 years now, I think i've picked up a few
tricks over the years.

It is easy to believe you have been doing crap for 45 years. No sign of
improvement yet.

some work in the process.

Of course. That's what it all about for you, isn't it?
They were nice about it, even served us a nice meal on top of
that. So I decide to enjoy that meal since I wasn't paying for it.

Cheapskates usually enjoy anything free.
I've been spending all evening cycling it through my system.

Again, disgusting. Is that you on the right side at
http://webpages.charter.net/jamie_5/
If so, you must be recycling rather than just cycling.
Thought you'd like to know :)

We didn't. Why didn't you post this to npfe.groups instead of being so
off-topic here?
Carry on gentlemen.

Wow! We have your permission? How gracious of you!

Oh! By "Jamie", you must mean:

Heh! Couldn't even get to Advanced class, eh? Lacking a little in the
technical end, I guess, since they removed the Morse code requirement.

BTW, if you're going back to Newington, give them my regards. It must
have been humiliating for you the last time they laughed in your face.

I do original stuff.

You mean like cycling stuff through your system? Ugh! That's still
disgusting.
Actually, i've done lots of original circuits.

Can you share those or are they secret?
Maybe some of them just
happen to look like others? That does not mean I copied.

Of course not. It was subliminal. I can tell.
Basic
electronics is, well, basic

NO! I could not have imagined that.
I guess and if you don't know those things
than you're in a world of shit!

I'm not than. Maybe you are.
As for the oscillating LED, that was something I knew about years ago
sir..

Well, to be honest, so did everybody else.
It had nothing to do with the LED flashing, it was a question
about the survival rate of the gain on the transistor being used that
way, I only used that as an example. It must of got lost in the
translation.

No, it didn't. You wanted to know if the transistor would live long and
prosper. You were given the answer in that thread.
I've always was led to believe using a transistor in that way isn't the
smartest practice.

Now, you see, you take something from one application and try to use the
rules in another application.
But then again, the list of smart people these days
are getting short.

Yes. You never got on that list, did you?
I've been doing this crap ~ 45 years now, I think i've picked up a few
tricks over the years.

Jamie

I'll not comment on that last sentence as I have already done so in
another post.

BTW, Maynard, I'll leave you alone if you will not post off-topic crap
like NFPE again.
