4017 help

i have a circuit that has a 4017 on it with just the function not the pin numbers and i cannot find a data sheet that has the symble ENA on it . any one seen this and what is the corresponding pin number?

Hi Jim

ENA would probably stand for Enable
So have a look at pin 13 which is Clock Enable and is probably what you circuit is referring to

thanks Dave that was what i was guessing on it , trouble is i cant get this @%$#$#@% computer to open up any pfd files

uninstall the PDF reader and install the latest adobe reader somewhere ~ Ver. 8

just in case the one you have installed is a really old version that wont open the newer files ??

Dave I do have version 8 installed but i cant find it in the 64 bit only in the 32 bit programs and i have Vista running on 64 bit.

ahhh ok, well time to get rid of crappy vista anyway haha and go to win7 a much nicer platform... vista has so so many compatability probs, but suprised you have a prob with adobe pdf V8 its readily available in 32 and 64 bit versions on the net

Dave you sound like a fred he said the same thing , his recomdation was to deleat it and redown load it again if that don't work then dump vista.

I have noted a number of issues with Vista with Acrobat, but actually reading pdf's is not one.

I have the unfortunate task of supporting a single Vista laptop that snick its way into our organisation, and that reads PDF's fine.
