    Heres a simple regulated psu i needed for a 0ne off unit

    Why not use an LM317T?
    This will give a more consistent output and has a current limit.

    There are plenty of fixed 3.3V regulators that will do the same job with only 3 parts (regulator + 2 caps.)

    "Make sure you have the right wires going to the proper pin-outs on your resistor and IC"
