Just bought used Panasonic 27" (1999) TV in good shape and screen looked fine when I bought it. It took me 15 minutes to get it home and it didn't move around in the car at all. Got it home and within five minutes noticed that one corner of the screen was blue on almost every channel. Nothing else is around the TV. What is this?

Few things come to mind. Safety note: Do not go into a TV unless you have enough knowledge, there are very dangerous voltages even when off. First, moving the tube through the earths magnetic field can cause color problem. Try turning on the tv for 10 seconds, then shut off for 2min, and repeat. This will engage the deguassing circuit. If this doesn't help then the yoke may be tilted, and if you don't know what that means don't go inside. Or worse case scenario is the mask moved inside the tube, unrepairable. The latter is due usually to dropping the Tv from a distance. Hope that helps.

If this is a TV using a cathode ray tube, then they are susceptible to external magnetic fields. Have you installed it near a loudspeaker?

if the degausing like Wabajig recommended does not work you can try placing small magnets near it, while this is not an ideal fix this will help it work for a while longer

Also you could go to a local TV shop and see if they have whats called a degausing ring, this is an intensive degaus that can fix more extreme problems like that
