Hi!

Does anyone know where I can find a pinout for a 26256 SRAM chip?

Thanks,
Paul.

Come now, is it really that hard to type "26256 pinout" at google?

You would have found your answer with less typing than your original message.

Try typing in "62256" instead. 32k x 8 SRAM

Shoot, didn't even notice that. Only reason it found it, was the Intersil
62256 sram just happens to have 26256 gates.

Damn google is good. It finds what you're looking for even if you don't
know what you're looking for. :)

Yeah, tell me about it!!

Only problem is that it didn't know what "26256 pinout" or "26256 sram" was.
I only found one reference to some Atari project.

I did find the 62256 but I didn't know if it was what I have.

What I have is the cache memory from an old 486 motherboard that I'm going
to connect to an AVR. It says AA26256AK-15 on the chip.

Thanks!!!
Paul.

Those are probably fakes. Google for "fake cache".

Ahhh crap!! Back to the drawing board!!

I have *lots* of genuine 61256 SRAMs (and equivalents). Contact me via
email and you can have them for the cost of postage.

BTW, Usbid.com (a chip broker) appears to be selling AA26256AK-15
parts. I wonder if these are fakes, too.
