240V to 12V Transformer

I need to light an MR11 bulb (12V 20W) with mains power, so wich transformer do I need form here?

Several models are suitable. Only one 20W bulb ever? Pick any that is at least 20VA and has a 6+6V or a 12+12V secondary. Single or double primary does not matter.

use the trasformer of the voltage rating 12-0-12 and rectify its output for the dc 12V load.it works.

You would loose a couple of volts in the rectifier doing that.
