2-way voice question

I'm relatively new to the wonderful world of security systems and would
be interested in comments, opinions, thoughts that you more experienced
folks might have on any benefits or drawbacks with regard to 2-way
voice systems.

Advantages would obviously be voice verification instead of standard CS
calling, it can prevent false alarms

Disadvantages would be depending on what 2-way voice equipment is used
