18 pin DIL IC SH69P 20C 1217.E 018DU N6SNY-3-3

Found inside touch-operated timeswitch. Looking for info?

maybe this..

Any other info gratefully received.

It's being used to control a relay on a timeout. Press a button, relay comes on, it starts counting down, after an adjustable preset time, relay goes off.

The full device is a wallswitch-sized affair labelled 'Lowenergie Multi-Use 16A Touch Timer Switch.

Unfortunately I can't find a pdf online of the manual sheet that came with this exact timer, but this one is very similar just to give a vague idea:

The device can time up to 2 hours. I'm hoping to be able to modify the circuit to extend the timeout up to 24 hours if possible.

Top work, many thanks!

Wondering what's going to be the easiest way to hack it into a 24 hour timer.. (20 would do)

First vague thought is, could I sledgehammer it by simply slowing the clock down by a factor of 10? Would I have to reprogram it?

Living in hope I can change the value of just one or two resistors & capacitors to achieve the desired result.. OSC on pins 15 & 16? I can't see a crystal though and I've seen mention of 'internal clock' so maybe I'd have to look into the code inside the thing?

Ahh hang on - OTP - that's *One* Time Programmable, right? So it would definitely have to be some kind of hardware mod, unless I bought a new microprocessor, programmed it with the original code modified as necessary, and soldered it back in?

sorry about the poor quality of the photos.. camera's not great :(

Maybe I should have posted in general.. sorry
