Hi all,

Sorry to bother you again, but was wondering if anyone knows of or has a
cheap 40-pin programmer for the PIC Micro devices. Seems to be hard to find
a serial/parallel one these days. Preferably with ZIF socket.

If you have one you don't want and are willing to sell it to me please email
me (after demangling the address).

The Silicon Chip programmer using the software ICPROG supports the 16F877,
but the kit only has an 18pin socket. You could make an adapter. The board
does have ICSP though.

I bought my kit from DSE. K3610, $59.95.

Software is here.... http://www.ic-prog.com/index1.htm

released today.
assembled and tested, very cost effective.
you will still need to wire a socket or ICSP header cable.

Cheers Don...

Get one of the kitsrus .com usb / serial ones from dontronics
Kits 128 149 150

128 - usb only and powered via usb
149 - serial and usb powered via plug pack
150 usb only powered via plug pack

http://www.kitsrus.com/upuc.html

I have kit 150 and it works fast and well.
Seems a bit faster than the warp13a programmer I have.

Will need to get a 16f48a for any of the kits 128 , 149 and 150
as the new firmware doesn't fit in a 16f628

Warp13a - appears they are not available anymore
