I am trying to finish a lab for an online course - no credit, just for knowledge and I am not sure if I didn't understand the principal correctly or if the online grader is not getting what I am putting down.

The first picture is the "innards" of the the 2-1 mux that is then replicated with a small trapezoidal shape in the next photo.

I am sorry I can not enlarge this further, but signal is going to each signal input, but the grader is stating that there is an error extracting the netlist: Number of connections (1) for terminal Z[15:0] of mux2to1_16bit_1 not a multiple of 16
Any clue on what this error means? Z is connected 16 times above...

Ok, I got it - the logic was sound - it was the idiosyncrasy of the online grader!

Hi, Instead of 16 -bit get the single bit with 0,1 and replace all your connections with 0,1 . your test will pass.
