I have a DSC Power 832 panel. Will there be any problems using a 12V DC
automotive relay for PGM output applications or power loop supervision?
Thanks in advance.

It should work fine. The only problem would be that the automotive relay
will draw alot more current than the RM-1.

I wouldn't use an automotive relay, my suspicion is it takes more
thant 50 ma the pgm1 output supplies. pgm2 can supply 300ma.

If you are using this relay for supervising a fire loop, I believe that the
relay must be listed for that use.
