Anyone know a simple 12 volt charge schematic with an auto stop when the
battery is charged.
I have been looking the internet but no luck yet.
My neighbor had one but moved away. It was a simple 15 volt power supply
with a small box ( 3 inches by 1 inch ) and two alligator clip at the end of
that. The little box was part of the wire with a double led light, red
charging and green charged.

thank you

Presumably you want a 12V lead acid charger right?

Get yourself a decently robust DC powersupply (say good for 16V+ at 2.2
Amps+, an old laptop computer powersupply would probably work well) and a
PB137 device from some place like Mouser. Datasheet at:

http://us.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/6278.pdf

Slap a heatsink on the device and call it a battery charger.
