    Hi all,

I am using the national.com simple switcher module which has 40V max input
but I'd like to have my circuit be able to take 100Volts max input and still
output 12V/1Amp. Anyone know of a buck converter that will be able to
output 12V/1Amp+ from an input voltage ranging from 24V to 100VDC?

    cheers,
    Jamie

The following all have high voltage buck chips with integrated switch:

Power Integrations, ST, On, Fairchild, Infineon

Note that you can use many flyback controllers in the buck application
without isolation, and some of their app notes will explain this.

    There may be others.
