100 milisecond delay circuite

    Could some one help me to make a 100 mili second delay circuite it belongs to my monograph and i am in a country you know with many problems so help me

    What do you want to delay?

    A fairly simple solution would be something like this:

    With the appropriate choice of R and C, this will delay both rising and falling edges of a logic signal. However, as the edges get closer together, the delay will decrease, and at some point the output will no longer change.

    The maximum delay is given by (approx) t = 1.1 RC

    Do not use values of R < 1kΩ as the impedance of the gate will then become a large factor.

    1MΩ and 0.1μF will give you approx 110ms

    Thanks from your information .
    I want a circuite in wich first for example after swiching first light would be on and after a delay of 80-100 msec the second light would turn on this is a home work given to us .
    Note the input is 9V and the out put must be also aboat it so there might be a need to a transister or not

    And since this is homework, I won't tell you if my circuit is a reasonable answer.

    If your studies have included logic gates, then you should be able to figure that out for yourself.

    What have you studied? Something in there will likely provide an answer.
