1/4 wave 6 meter vertical antenna

    I run RC boats on 6 meter amateur band,50.880 mhz. The receiver has a 2 turn link input,50 ohms Z more or less impedance. the antenna is a random length vertical, High impedance at the base, not a good match to the 2 turn input link. My thought ,was to add a base loading coil to the vertical and make it look like a 1/4 wave vertical ,now the base impedance will be ,More or less 50 ohms, a good match to the 2 turn input link
