    LLC Transformer (Resonant) Winding Question

Hello, I am designing a USB PD compatible AC/DC adapter however I am questioning the schematic of a specific LLC transformer I aquired from WE*. I don't get if the two secondary windings are supposed to be senter tapped , solder them together , or if one of the windings are the 2nd side...

PSU: Noise decoupling and bypassing (Hobby project)

[SOLVED] I found out that the problem I had did not have to do anything with a noisy PSU, in fact the problem occured from any particular power source. The problem was that when I left the UART (TX, RX) pins floating on the BLE module they acted as random bit transmitters/recievers. Since I am...

PSU: Noise decoupling and bypassing (Hobby project)

I actually read about those safety distances before constructing the PCB so I think that wont be a problem and the current drain is below 500 mA . The case is hard plastic and the 3 plugs are grounded, I am from Sweden, Europe so they are 240 VAC with 2 ground plugs next to the VAC connectors...

PSU: Noise decoupling and bypassing (Hobby project)

Thanks for the two tips, the PSU happens to be reversed engineered from some samsung phone adapter because I needed it to be different dimensions. I guess am not very good at PCB layout to reduce noise as much as possible. I will try to make some custom EMI shield like you said to protect from...

PSU: Noise decoupling and bypassing (Hobby project)

Hello, I am currently doing a project which consists of an 3v3 and 5V output PSU inside an 3 plug power cord supplied by 240 VAC outlet. The 3 plugs are connected in series with a coil relay each and the relays are driven by a rf bluetooth module (AMS001/S). When the RF module is driven by the...
