    110 VAC timer

Found it on ebay of all places. When I looked again all I could find were hour and minute meters, plenty of those and very good prices. Saw a few for under 10 but most are around 25-45, all NOS. Amazing how inexpensive old tech becomes when everything goes digital. I'll have to think about a...

    110 VAC timer

Wow, thanks Hop, I read through all the links (head still spinning) and was ready to attack my first project since I finished building the shops workbenches (thats me in the avatar working on the roof) when my wife hands me her tablet and asks "is this what you are looking for". I'll be damned...

    110 VAC timer

I'd like to build one. Not sure where to start but my eyes and ears are open. I get down to Phoenix often and they have a Fry's Electronics, unless there's a better online source.

    110 VAC timer

Thanks, I searched for time meters and did find some that record in seconds. This would work, but I'd have to determine the length of time the motor runs over several minutes or an hour to be able to figure tenths more accurately.

    Connector Identification Help

Hi guys, wondering if anyone recognizes this connector or knows of a good online source where I might look for them. I got a deal on a new B&D electric mower, paid $5.00 for a floor model as is with no charger or key. It uses a 36v 3 cell SLA pack. I have a 36v 1.5 amp charger from an electric...

    APC Back-UPS XS1500

Not that it will help you now, but I've had success about 50% of the time reviving SLA batteries. Most failures are due to the battery going dry in a cell or two. Even though they called sealed, there is a path for the gas to escape from each cell. The cover can be carefully removed exposing the...

    Hello from Arizona

Hello to all, my name is Todd. I'm an avid DIYer not an electronics Guru but will try to fix anything if I can. I enjoy the internet forums and try to add as much as I learn from them but I doubt there's much I can contribute here, I'll stick to asking the occasiional dumb question.
