Also, I just realized that the bridge rectifier is backwards. Please pretend I never made that horrific mistake. In addition, I would really like to avoid using GDTs. I'm afraid I don't understand. I thought one of the great bonuses of MOSFET's are that the voltage they switch isn't limited by the gate voltage, unlike a BJT.- Phil_Jahelka
