i meant it was something i cant understand it was too advanced and way over my head
i understand that the slip is attached to my platform
lets say i have a 4+ channel
all the stationary wires can be attached to one power source 1/2 to + and 1/2 to - and then the revolving ones just need to be attached the smae way same colors to the same polarity?

Yes, exactly.
The reason for more ‘channels’ (circuits), is to have different signals, data or voltages for any number of reasons. A second motor on the moving platform or a device that requires 5V and not 12v for example.
When you think of slip rings, imagine a ribbon cable that doesn’t tangle!.
Also work out how many wires you require from ribbon cable and buy a slip ring with that amount of wires.

No!
That’s the maximum voltage it can handle.
I don’t think you are reading the replies properly. I already told you that.
