The icons for the flags need to be updated. Currently they show nonsense.

Also: Upload of images doesn't work. neither by direct pasting into the edit window nor by using the upload button. "a server error occured. Please try again later". At least one other user has the same problem.

These issues have been fixed, my apologies!

For the time being I switched back to the old view, too. Maybe it's due to lonmg use but I find the old look better arranged. E.g. you can hover over the alerts to get a list of current alerts. The new view requires you to klick and load the alert page.

You can still hover over alerts if you click on your account icon at the top of the page :)

In the original view, when you hover over alerts, or when you click on it, the alert box appears too far to the left. This is a minor issue on the desktop version, but in the mobile version, part of is is obscured off the left side of the screen.

Like that. And all of the drop downs do the same thing.

I'm probably going to switch back to the new view because if I'm helping people find things it is obviously better that I see the interface the same way they do.

Another detail is that the number of alerts does not show in the new format if you're on a mobile platform.

Similar situations exist in the new layout. Whilst it works in landscape mode, in portrait mode menus appear too far to the left of the screen.

The menu at the bottom of each post is almost completely invisible to the left of the screen.

A similar situation exists for the thread tools.

and... At the top of the screen in portrait mode, the generic user image is shown instead of my image.

This is a minor point except that it also doesn't show the count of notifications -- and i think that may be a side effect of not showing the correct image.

Also... recent activity, posting history, etc uses unreasonably large fonts.
