shrtrnd,I looked at the counting dials on newark's site.I don't think that would work because the "pot" is gear driven off of a shaft.It looks like the counting dials might be used more as a hand operated control??Besides I need to go the other way,it would be like a counting dial that turned...- tree98

Sorry I didnt explain it correctly the first time.What i need to do is have the "pot" get to where its going in almost exactly 1/3 the movement.So it would need to send the same" information" to the display as the 10 turn but in 3.33 turns,is that even possible?I think the bourns "pot" i have...- tree98

Thanks for the help!! I did search the bourns website and I couldn't make heads or tails of the information on there :confused: you said it's probably a 10 turn pot,if thats the case i would actually need a 3.33 turn pot.I have a feeling one of those would not exist :D Could you explain to me...- tree98

I'm new here and to be honest don't have any real electronic's knowledge,but I do have an electronics problem :D What I have is a Bourns 3540s-762-502 res 5k ohm _+5% lin _+0.25% below all that it says 0604X.What i'm trying to accomplish requires the same size...- tree98
