The button on the Leviton is an indicator LED and is used during setup to link the device to your hub. I will try the reed relay that you mentioned and see if that works. Thanks,- tasehr

That is the module and the AC unit. I currently have the AC plugged into the module and it powers it fine. I just have to be there to push the button on the unit or remote.- tasehr

It is an AC unit in a small building outside the house and I would like to be able to turn it on through a z-wave appliance module prior to going outside to pre-cool the building. It is a Haier, Model ESA406 I think.- tasehr

It is the bottom switch. It is to manually turn it on by press and release. I do have a DMM.- tasehr

I am wondering if anyone knows a good way to bypass a momentary switch. Basically, I have an air conditioner unit with a momentary switch that I would like to turn on whenever power is applied.
