well, i've been digging a little bit, and the transformer originally was on a 600VA UPS
at least 250W of electricity the primary is giving when working as an inverter from 12v-220v. ( i know that it should be more)
assuming that the efficiency of the transformer must be at least 0.6 (worst...
The transformer was originally from an Mustek UPS.
the part number on it is the following:
080-48183-01
GP 0721
Class B Viking B-2
E210832
the size is of it is 8cm (3.14 inches)
primary 220v
secondary 12v
Hello,
I've got an transformer of 220v - 12v. The problem is that i don't know the amperage gived by the secondary. How can i know it?
Is it possible to know it if i put an amperimeter in short circuit? i'm afraid to burn it if i do.
btw, sorry for the ignorance. :)
