I spent 10 years as an Aviation Electrician in the U.S. Navy working on the P-3 Orion and C40 Clipper (Boeing 737-700). I remain in the electronics field which I have been doing for the last 28 or so years, I would rather not mention my employer at this time in public. I have been selling electronic components, mostly obsolete or NOS, for two years on eBay. I do that more for an excuse to have 5 million pieces in the house without the wife kicking me out than I do for the money. I am not here to try and sell my items! At the age of 48 I am getting ready to go back to college to work on my electrical engineering degree, not so I can change jobs but so I can make some more complex circuits without relying on others for help as much. I also live helping new hobbyist learn more about the electronics field.
I hope I will be able to help others on this message board and look forward to learning from other members as well.
