    Hello all --

We recently had a power outage and found that the backup battery in our
Rollins System 6 was dead. All of the programming for the system has
now been lost and all the sensors and smoke detector must be
re-programmed back into the system. We would like to reprogram the
system ourselves and are looking for a copy of the programming manual.

The Rollins system 6 sensors are "Learn Mode" sensors and do =NOT= need
to be ³burned² with a programming keypad or any special device. The
Rollins System 6 is basically an ITI SV-5 using "Learn Mode" sensors
that operate at the 317 mhz frequency. The ITI SV-5 systems normally
use 319 mhz and this is why the Rollins System 6 sensors can not be
used with the newer Concord system which operates at 319 hz.

All of the sensors still have fresh batteries in them and the Alpha
keypad and main keyed control unit are fine (we just installed a fresh
backup battery in the control console). I am able to figure out how to
get into ³programming mode² on the console because in the past I was
able to remove certain sensors from the system, but other than that I
am fuzzy on the programming. I'm not sure how to go about teaching the
system how to recognize each sensor.

Does anyone have the programming manual for a Rollins System 6? Or
might anyone be able to tell me how to program this system? Any
    assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.
