heat pads that turn off after two hours...how can i make it stay on?

    i dont know much about this. but theres something in there that makes
    it turn off after two hours. what does this piece look like? how could
    i take it out and still have the wole thing work?

    Hi, Mike. A lot of heating pads are set up so they'll turn off after a couple
    of hours to prevent skin burns while someone's sleeping.

    A fairly straightforward way to do what you want would be to cycle power off
    for a few seconds every hour or so. I think some intelligent timers available
    at the hardware store have this capability.

    It's probably not a good idea (especially since we're in S.E.B. here) to open
    up the controller and make mods. Also, remember why they put in auto shutoff
    -- it's a safety feature that's there to protect you.

    Since you don't know what you're doing and it sounds like something that
    connects to AC mains, my advice would be to not **** with it.
