I am looking for someone (not a company) to design a circuit and prototype
for our company. Fairly simple two part device. Device A sends out an RF
signal, Device B detects it and sets off an alarm. Would prefer to use a
prebuilt rf transmitter so the device will not need fcc approval. If
interested please contact me at "support at airsoftarms dot com" with rough
    estimation of total price.

I recommend you contact Jeff Moore (aka PCB Designer)

He just did some excellent work for me. I found him at the Eagle web
site www.cadsoftusa.com I just got lucky.

I think he's on vacation this upcoming week, but you can go to his
site and e-mail or call him.

I've used the Radiometrix BIM3 transceiver modules for a similar
application. They are FCC approved and have a range of up to 120 m in
open air and 30 m indoors.
