Acer AL1916 No power

    Hi Guys,
    I have an Acer TFT AL1916 which all of a sudden has no power at all. Power LED remains off , any idea what this can be ?? I already anaged to open the unit and checked for dry joints.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Most likely your internal switching power supply board is broken. This happens pretty often throughout all different kinds of TFT screens.
    I have the same screen that has the panel half broken (just half of the screen shows a picture, the rest is color mix). if you would sell me your broken screen, I could fix mine, or I could sell you all the internal electronics from mine and you repair yours. It's pretty easy to take it apart and change the boards and the like...
