Maintenance on old rockets

I've come back to rocketry after about 25 years (it's called having
kids) and found all my old models in my parents' basement. They appear
to be in good condition, but I know some things need work, but not sure
if I've thought of everything.

My short list is: shock cord & parachute/streamer. If you have any
suggestions on what to add to the list, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Jon

Having rehabilitated old rockets, I would suggest checking all the glue
joints.
