Analog Integrated Circuit Design

As analog circuits are used at increasingly higher frequencies in a
range of video and wireless applications, designers are challenged by
the need to reduce noise, power consumption and supply voltage.
Achieving performance improvements requires a sound understanding of
analog design techniques. Despite the problems that best industry in
recent years, it remains essential for designers to acquire the
necessary skills to implement efficient and cost effective analog
designs to help their organisations maintain a competitive edge.
As we recognise the importance of nurturing good analog design skills,
Imperial College London will be presenting a course on High Frequency
CMOS and Bipolar Analog Integrated Circuit Design. It will be presented
by colleagues, who themselves are actively engaged in high frequency
analog circuit development, both in industry and universities, thus
enabling participants to benefit directly from their design
experiences. They are also highly enthusiastic and experienced
teachers, who encourage the development of an intuitive understanding
of design techniques.
This course has been designed for engineers wishing to enhance their
ability to design analog circuits for high frequency operation.
Although it is anticipated that participants will already have some
knowledge and experience of analog integrated circuit design, those
with less experience should not be deterred from registering.
