I need a 4.7pf ceramic capacitor and i dont know what the code is that im looking for.. i thought it was 479 but im not sure. any help understanding this would be great. Thanks

hi there

a 47 pF ceramic cap would normally have just 47 on it some may have 47p or 47pF

but just plain 47 would be the most common 471 = 470pF 472 = 4700pF etc

PS ... 479 would be 47 and 9 0's ie. 47000000000pF = 47,000uF
